Catherine Grace has written something quietly extraordinary. From that foundation, Catherine builds a book of eleven chapters, each anchored in a true story from her own life. A group of young girls lost on a bush mountain trail who turned to prayer in the dark and were found. A quiet prompting to knock on a neighbour's door that led to an unexpected and meaningful connection. Stories of love, loss, home, grief, waiting, and the profound experience of being truly heard. Each narrative opens outward into reflection, scripture, and an invitation for the reader to consider where those same whispers might be at work in their own circumstances.

What gives the book its particular warmth is Catherine's voice. She writes not as a theologian or a preacher, but as someone who has sat at many bedsides, held many hands, and spent years in chaplaincy and pastoral care visitation across hospitals and aged care homes. She knows how people carry their sorrow, their doubt, and their longing, and she writes with the kind of tenderness that only comes from genuine experience of walking alongside people in their most vulnerable moments. About the Author

Catherine Grace, known to her family and friends as Cathy, lives on the picturesque Central Coast of New South Wales with her husband Graeme. She is a mother of three adult children and a grandmother of three. Her working life has spanned many years in Decorative Art, High Tea, chaplaincy, and pastoral care visitation in hospitals and aged care homes. She has published a previous book, three short stories, and poetry, and has received recognition in the International Book Awards. Gentle Whispers is her second book. She writes, as she lives, with the warmth of someone who believes every person she meets deserves to know how deeply and particularly they are loved.
